Earlier this week, I was in a consultation with two new clients who were unsure about the effect that the Internet could have on their business and they asked me, 'Is the online presence of our business important?'
Today, I'd like to answer that question for any other business owners or entrepreneurs who have similar concerns about the effectiveness of the Internet when it comes to business promotion. The UK has been hit by a barrage of bad weather over the past month and it's bad news for business.
Businesses are not only finding it difficult to generate income in the current economic downturn but due to the unseasonal weather, summer sales are expected to take a huge hit. At the same time staff are prone to illness, offices are closing and morale is running low. Since Christmas, the majority of new requests that we've received have centred around communication.
Business Owners who are struggling to keep up with their communication have fallen behind with emails and voicemails and in doing so have missed vital customers, suppliers and PR opportunities. Therefore, we thought that it would be a good idea to go over why communication is so important and how we can help you to stay on top of it and never miss another opportunity. I recently realised that I'd never written down the story behind Admin Angels UK.
Even though I've re-told the story countless times I thought that you may be interested to read how Admin Angels UK began. We've been extremely grateful over the past 12 months that several of our valued clients have referred their friends, colleagues and clients to us.
As a thank you we've decided to put in place a Referral Programme! Simply mention our services to a friend or acquaintance and once they've paid their first invoice you'll receive a 10% discount off the total of your next invoice. The beginning of the year is a typical time for offices to get messy – as we start to get busy again after Christmas; our workspaces often become a dumping ground for paperwork and rogue files. The key to protecting against encroaching clutter and to keep your office an effective place to work is better storage, but simply bunging everything into a desk won't solve the problem – we need storage systems as well as just extra space. Here are our top tips to combine the two and get the most out of your office:
Not only is 2014 a new year for us here at Admin Angels UK but this week has also seen our 1 year anniversary and so to celebrate you get two blogs instead of one this week!
Task Management ToolsSince starting Admin Angels UK just over a year ago I've quickly gained experience using a multitude of cloud based task management systems to help improve my own and my clients time management and organisation.
Most of the tools that I have used are available free of charge and each offer a range of fantastic services. The only trick is choosing the one that works best for you and your business. When I started work as a freelancer I used very different tools to the ones that I use now and so I'm going to take you through some of my favourites. |
