How to Stay Seen in a Crowded Virtual World

​Are you finding it difficult to 'stand out' now that everyone seems to be online?

All of a sudden, our virtual world seems more crowded than ever before as, thanks to the current pandemic, more and more people are noticing the value and importance of online marketing. 

Shops that used to operate physically are now launching eCommerce stores, authors who used only consignment printing are now turning to print-on-demand services and eBooks, and Zoom has become the fastest growing video meeting provider. 

So, how do you stay seen amidst all of this noise?

Try these tips:

• Use social media - this is crucial. You don't have to be everywhere. Just pick one social media platform and stick to it. Show up every day, engage, interact and be consistent.

• Deliver more than expected - want your customers to shout about you? Give them more. And this doesn't need to be complicated or time-consuming. A simple, how are you, email or a guide to using Zoom could make all the difference. 

• Add value - if everyone is offering the same thing, you can stand out by giving that little bit more. So, take a look at your product/service and ask yourself how it can be improved?
