Let’s face it, we haven’t worked this hard to stop now, and if we still want to have a business when the lockdown is over, we need to keep working at it. As everyone turns to the internet to stay connected, it’s the perfect time to be present.
We’ve already seen companies and individuals changing the way that they approach marketing. Zoos are running virtual tours and workshops to encourage people to visit when they reopen, and in some cases, to donate while they’re closed. Coaches and trainers are selling online packages instead of in-person sessions and estate agents are offering virtual property tours. The last thing that we should be doing right now is going dark on our blogs and social media. Why? Because someone out there still wants or needs what we have to offer. If not right now, in the future. If you stop marketing now, you risk becoming invisible, losing your followers, your site traffic, and your paying customers. If you’re worried about promoting your services during this difficult time, consider changing what you’re doing instead of stopping.
