In addition to blogging for your own website, companies have also found that Guest Blogging can be a powerful tool when used correctly.
For those of you that don't know, simply put guest blogging is the act of posting blog articles on other website blogs to generate SEO back-links and to help promote your website to a wider audience. STEP 1: Draft an email to blog owners stating what your intentions are and why you feel that a collaboration with them will benefit both you and the blog owner. Remember that honesty and mutual respect are important. Do not fabricate the current quality or status of your blog and do not make promises that you do not or cannot intend to keep as negative feedback in the world of business can have a severe impact. STEP 2: Search for quality guest post opportunities. STEP 3: Request Away! Send those emails and await the acceptance of your guest posts. STEP 4: Remember to collaborate with blog owners; select SEO keywords that will benefit and remain true to both blogs and ensure that you produce high quality articles with relevant and interesting content. STEP 5: Offer equal opportunities...If you are adding content to another blog offer them the same opportunity to post content to yours. In doing so, you will not only create quality back-links to your site but you'll also build the strength of your own blog and if done correctly you may even gain a wider audience in the process.
